back to school...

Okay, so I know I've been slacking on the blog hard core... Apologies. Anyways after a great summer it was time to go back to school and back to live with my wonderful roommates! There has been a lot that has gone on so I'll try to do my best, but it will be short and sweet...

Meet my roommates.... again.

We went to neon night dancing...

Then we magically became mario cart for halloween...

I randomly dyed my hair brown... thanks taylor and megan.

Last but not least, Megan and I went to New Moon opening!
We got the pleasure of sitting on the cement in the freezing cold weather for a couple hours while we waited.... we were not prepared in the slightest, but it made for good memories and for good seats to sit and stare at edward and jacob eh eh?

jamaica...

This summer my whole family was able to go on vacation together to JAMAICA! Lets just say it was the funnest trip in the whole world!!!! It was nice to have everyone together since we have all been going our separate ways for a while. Our days there mostly consisted of getting in the water and then sleeping and drying off, along with non stop drinks and food. It was the life. While we were on the trip Suzette and I made a rule that the only movements that were allowed were to move our hand to bring our drinks to our mouths and to turn the magazine pages of our hollywood gossip magazines. haha. That lasted long.... Other than just relaxing we did a lot of other fun things like A LOT of scuba diving, hiked dunns river falls, and shopped at all these different markets. The vacation was amazing and i'm definately going to miss Jamaica and for sure being with the whole family!

summer 2009.

it's been a while since i have posted so i'll try to catch up the best i can..... so lets start.....

right after finals were over for spring semester shante came down to utah to visit! it was a much needed visit and a good celebration to the end of the semester. While she was visiting shante', clay, westin, and I went to lagoon for a fun and adventurous day. We also got to go to a temple open house, go to temple square and of course shopping. All and all it was a really good trip!

It was then off to vegas to tend the little childrens. I lived at Suzette and Ryker's house for about a month and was able to spend some quality babysitting time with Ledger and Lola. While babysitting I was able to get away for a week and go down to california to visit megan. We went to a theme park, sanfransisco, the play wicked, lake tahoe, and the list goes on. pretty much a pretty legit trip.

vegas vacation.... too short!

I finished my finals by Saturday so that the mommas could drive down and pick me up on our way to vegas. It was well worth it although cramming for those few days was a bit scary for myself and probably my roommates haha. sorry guys. We got to Suzette's house Monday and that night went to Red Lobster for Mom's Birthday dinner. I freakin love Red Lobster buscuits is all I have to say. That night we basically just chilled with Suz, Ryker, Ledger and Lola.

The next day we went to the pool by Suz's house and had a picnic. It was Lola's first time in the water and she loved it. Ledger had to control himself at times... he had a problem with wanting to push Lola and splash her. That same night my Mom and I stayed at the Luxor hotel and watched Benjemin Button with M and M's. Luckily someone will watch it with me (hm... Megan).

Wednesday was shopping day! I would like to say I shopped for about 5 or 6 hours straight. World record time for me!! The outlets in vegas and I are best friends now with all that bonding time! After all day shopping we went Claim Jumper and to the movie "17 again". The movie started off high school musical style but by the end it turned out to be a decent movie. Loved it! Bedtime.... along with every other night, was nice and early around 10:00 :)

After a long day of shopping it was time again for a pool day at the Luxor. I was too excited to put my sunscreen on evenly so by the end of the day I looked like a tomato with leprecy or something. No good. We ate at cheesecake factory, and of course ordered suz's famous macoroni and cheese "Balls", don't forget the balls... once again early bedtime :)

The next two days we went back to Suz's house and just kinda chilled. Suz and I made freakin sweet headbands that we tried to mimick from Urban Outfitters. Let's just say we might start a business. I got to hang out with Ledger and Lola a ton these days too. Lola is all smiles! She is the happiest and sweetest baby I've ever seen! Ledger on the other hand is crazy. He has so much energy and needs constant attention and watch. I love that little boy with all my heart. We are best buds!

All and all the trip was amazing! Warm weather, lots of sleep, relaxation, niece and nephew, good food, and laughing = happiness! I hate to think it's over and now off to school with a lonely apartment... life can't always be perfect, but close :)

festival of colors.

This past Saturday my roommates and I decided to go to Spanish Fork to go to the Festival of Colors along with the whole rest of the state of Utah I swear. Anyways It was a celebration at a Buddhist temple where they danced, had a bonfire, and best of all threw colored chalk EVERYWHERE!
As the chalk was being thrown you couldn't breath for about 45 seconds and couldn't see anything but a cloud of color. A bit scary I'll admit, but worth it :) I think the best part of the whole day was that the color dye stained the three blonds in the apartment, not. Shannon, Erin, and I all washed our hair a billion and a half times and still are all sportin the pink hair strong. All and all though it was a good day :) finished off by crepes, frozen bananas in chocolate, and then dragging our mattresses out to the living room to have a slumber party.

My sister Aubrey tagged me in this and I feel a bit inadequate considering that half her list was bolded and probably only about 2 will be bolded on my list. I can't do her list justice. Anyways I thought it'd be worth a try to pass some time while I was bored...
